‘Star Wars’ Characters Who Need to Come to Live-Action
Sabine Wren
A very popular character to originate from Star Wars Rebels is another Mandalorian. Sabine Wren is voiced by Tiya Sircar. Unlike most of her people, Sabine’s armor and helmet are personalised. It makes her instantly recognisable.
The last time fans saw her she was teaming-up with Ahsoka Tano. Their mission is to search for the missing Ezra Bridger after he gave up his life to defeat the evil Admiral Thrawn. With Ahsoka coming to live-action, Sabine shouldn’t be too far behind.
This is especially important since the end of Star Wars Rebels takes place after the Battle of Endor.
Seeing Sabine in The Mandalorian would be interesting. Having Din, who believes a Mandalorian shouldn’t take off their helmet, meet her can bring in humor. Seeing his reaction to Mandalorian armor with graffiti over it can only be a good thing.
However, not everyone needs to go to The Mandalorian. Sabine can easily appear in another series. A live-action sequel series to Star Wars Rebels featuring Sabine and Ahsoka’s mission would be great. It’s also something fans have asked for.
By doing this, they can also bring Ezra and Grand Admiral Thrawn into live-action. Who wouldn’t want to see Lars Mikkelsen as a live-action Thrawn? And who wouldn’t want to see Sabine reuniting with Ezra?
