‘Star Wars’ Characters Who Need to Come to Live-Action

Hondo Ohnaka

Voiced by Jim Cummings, Hondo Ohnaka appears in Clone Wars and Rebels. He is also part of the mission briefing at the Galaxy’s Edge attraction at Disney World’s Star Wars Land.

There he is an animatronic but it shows what a live-action Hondo would look like.

He’s a tricky character who switches to the side that suits him. Sometimes he is villainous, while other times he’s the reason heroes succeed. He’s a character who would be better as a guest star in another series.

With the Obi-Wan series coming soon, it would be interesting to see the former allies meet there.

And again, he can easily appear in The Mandalorian due to its main character’s nature. If our hero ever needs a smuggler, Hondo is an addition fans wouldn’t be against.

In the expanded universe, Hondo is still alive during the rise of the First Order.

In the comics for Galaxy’s Edge, Hondo assists the Resistance. If Disney ever made a live-action show about that period of time, then Hondo wouldn’t be a strange inclusion.
