Marvel Studios finally premiered the first teaser trailer for Taika Waititi’s Thor: Love and Thunder. It’s about time. The studio waited an unprecedented amount of time before showing us anything from the film.
This film’s a first for Marvel, in that it’s the fourth Thor movie in the franchise. Love and Thunder also marks the second Thor film for Waititi.

Thor (Chris Hemsworth) is seeking out something he never saw in his future…peace. It’s about time for the superhero, but a mysterious figure threatens Odinson’s retirement. Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale) is an intergalactic killer with only one thing on his mind, wiping out all of the Gods.
Thor will need the help of all of his friends to stop Gorr the God Butcher‘s wrath. He taps in King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi), and another surprise new hero…his ex-girlfriend, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman).
In a new twist, Foster’s worthy of wielding Mjolnir, turning her into the Mighty Thor!
