The Suicide Squad Kills the Justice League is the next DC video game by Rocksteady. For those unfamiliar with the company’s past games, they are the creators of the Batman: Arkham trilogy. This doesn’t include Arkham Origins, which was created by a different company.
According to Rocksteady, this game is set within the Arkham universe. It’ll be interesting to see how that works given things that happened in the previous game. Moreover, the Deadshot we see in this game looks completely different to the one from the other.
So far, players can play as Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Killer Shark and Captain Boomerang. Take a look at these characters in action below:
The first trailer only showed the Suicide Squad against Superman. This time we see Green Lantern, Wonder Woman and the Flash. Furthermore, there are more teases nothing is what it seems. Given the ship shaped like a skull, it looks like the real villain is Brainiac.
It’ll be interesting to see if the Suicide Squad and the Justice League team up by the end to go after him. Fans who have played Injustice 2 have already faced off with the evil Coluan.
We also see the Penguin in the trailer, and it seems he’s part of the squad. Or at least, is for now. With the way he’s being treated by the Squad, it wouldn’t be a shock if he dies.
Much like Gotham Knights, Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League is multiplayer. Players can play with up to three of their friends. However, if you want to play yourself that’s fine too. The game fills the other characters with A.I. bots.
I know who I’ll be playing as the most, but that isn’t a surprise. Everything’s always Harley Quinn for me. Although, if we see more characters, that might change.
