Wandavision recently finished on Disney+. Kicking off Phase Four, Wandavision finally gives Elizabeth Olsen her chance in the Marvel spotlight. Even though she’s been in several Marvel movies, it’s in this series where Wanda Maximoff comes into her own.
But she isn’t the only one. Paul Bettany as Vision shows different sides to the character. Meanwhile, a grown-up Monica Rambeau is introduced to audiences. There are several other characters from Wandavision who return from previous instalments, but some of them aren’t from the comics.
Unfortunately, Dr Darcy Lewis (Kat Dennings) is an original character for the Thor movies. Because of this, there’s no source material to read, and the same goes for Tyler Hayward.
However, SWORD exists outside of the MCU. The most important story is Astonishing X-Men vol. 3 #68 in December 2004.
This is the first appearance of the organisation.
