‘Wandavision’: Comics to Read After Watching the Series

The Vision

The first appearance of Vision is in Avengers Volume 1 #57, first published in 1968. Much like the MCU version, Vision is a creation of Ultron. But in the comics version, Vision’s body is from the original Human Torch android during the 1940s.

Moreover, his consciousness comes from Simon Williams, also known as Wonder Man.

Vision

If you’re looking for a Vision similar to Wandavision, Tom King’s Vision is a good go-to. In the series, he creates a wife and two kids. They live in the suburbs and try to live a normal life.

However, they struggle to live their life when old enemies come to town, and nosey neighbors threaten to blackmail them.

There are two volumes of the Vision comic series. Unfortunately, for fans of Vision and Wanda, they aren’t together by this point. Vision’s wife features Wanda’s brain patterns though. It features several appearances from Wanda and Agatha Harkness too.

Fans of Sparky the Dog will be happy to know it’s this series where he came from. Luckily, Agatha and Sparky never meet in this version.

West Coast Avengers #45 (by John Byrne) features the first appearance of the white Vision. Unfortunately, the white Vision lacks the other Vision’s emotions. Within this run is where Vision and Wanda’s relationship ends.

Next – Monica Rambeau
