WATCH: This ‘Swiss Army Man’ Music Video is Just Odd

The internet is full of really weird videos, but not one of them will perk your interest and confuse you as much as the music video for Swiss Army Man.  It is an interesting for a number of reasons. Swiss Army Man stars the corpse of Daniel Radcliffe and Paul Dano, a lonely man who gets a bit creative with Radcliffe’s corpse. I am actually trying to tone down how insane this movie is going to be, but I am finding it difficult to do. Check out the official synopsis:

Being stranded on a deserted island leaves young Hank (Paul Dano) bored, lonely and without hope. As a rope hangs around his neck, Hank prepares to end it all, until he suddenly spots a man (Daniel Radcliffe) laying by the shore. Unfortunately, he is dead and quite flatulent. Using the gassy body to his advantage, Hank miraculously makes it back to the mainland. However, he now finds himself lost in the wilderness, and dragging the talking corpse named Manny along for the adventure.

The video is titled Montage, and it is nothing short of brilliant. If you thought that Swiss Army Man couldn’t get any crazier you would be mistaken. It will be interesting to see how this movie plays out on the big screen. I have my assumptions about what this film is about, but feel free to take all the guesses you would like.

The film may have captured your imagination, but the gem hidden in the film is Montage. With lyrics like, “we’re using your body like it’s a machine gun,” and “pop-pop-corn”, followed up by “are we falling in love”, there is no doubt that this song is a taste of the insanity that we will see in the film. The Academy may need to create a new award category for film like Swiss Army Man. “And the award for ‘creative use of a corpse’ goes to…”

If Swiss Army Man is not on your radar, you might consider adding it. It hits theaters on June 24.
