Al Pacino
In the aftermath of the Scorsese hit The Godfather, Al Pacino was tapped to play the role of Han Solo. In fact, some considered him a shoe-in for the role. Unfortunately for the supporters, Pacino turned down the role immediately. It is well-known that Pacino loathes media attention, so Star Wars fame might not have suited him well.
