Looked at as one of the zaniest groups in the DC Universe, the Doom Patrol are appearing in one episode of Titans and now they have their own spin-off. Fans of the Patrol will be pleased to see they will be front-and-center and Titans will be the starting point for them.
The series can be used as a backdoor to test the waters for one-off characters. It gives the studio a chance to see what characters could get their own franchise. This is an amazing opportunity for DC.
