Every year the Razzie’s come around to let us know what the worst films of the year are, if you missed a few of them. This year is no different, and has a few bombshells that might surprise you. Some of the films nominated for the Golden Raspberry Award Foundation’s 37th Razzie Awards are Zoolander 2, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Independence Day: Resurgence.
Nabbing this years ‘Worst Picture’ nominations are: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Dirty Grandpa, Gods of Egypt, Hillary’s America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party, Zoolander 2, and Independence Day: Resurgence. You can hardly argue with this list, as these were definitely some this years most-hated films. The list didn’t stop there. Robert de Niro, Ben Affleck, Gerard Butler, Dinesh D’Souza, and Ben Stiller all managed to garner nominations for ‘Worst Actor’. Jared Leto’s version of the Joker even managed to make the list, (if some people needed justification for all the Joker hate.)
There were a few big letdowns this year, and the Razzies are there to let them be forever immortalized as just that. The winners will be announced at the ceremony on February 26, 2017.
