‘Deadpool 2’ Special Teaser ‘No Good Deed’ (Feat. Stan Lee) is Sheer Brilliance

Deadpool 2, Twentieth Century Fox

This weekend millions of people will cram into their local theaters to see Hugh Jackman brandish the adamantium claws of Wolverine one last time. For the first time in a long while there is no way to know who will be the centerpiece of X-Men films moving forward. Will Fox recast Wolverine, or will they let the character retire from the big screen? If you believe a recent interview by Simon Kinberg, then it looks like Weapon X will be gone for a while. With all the sadness surrounding Logan over the departure of Jackman, there is a wonderful teaser trailer that is accompanying the film, and will get fans excited for Deadpool 2.

The teaser trailer shows Deadpool rushing into a phone booth to change into his superhero costume to save a robbery victim. What ensues is extremely hilarious, and features the amazing Stan Lee himself. Check out the teaser trailer for Deadpool 2  titled ‘No Good Deed’ below:

‘No Good Deed’ is a really funny clip, and shows audiences that Ryan Reynolds and crew aren’t changing the formula for the sequel, despite the departure of director Tim Miller. There are a few great things to note from the trailer.

1. is that Deadpool is trying to be a hero, but understands that he is not good at it.

2. He is a self-aware character, meaning he lives in a comic book world, but knew who Stan Lee was.

3. Did you see the Firefly posters on the wall when he came charging out of the phone booth? Interesting inclusion with the recent news that Fox wants to reboot the Firefly series, if Joss Whedon will return. It’s funny to see that the pop culture references have a place in the trailers as well as the Deadpool films.

And finally 4. Of course Deadpool’s favorite flavor of ice cream is Ben & Jerry’s ‘Cherry Garcia’!
