Check out the official trailer below:

Disney moves all-in with Favreau, who adapted another popular Mouse-House movie, The Jungle Book. The Jungle Book revolutionized how realistic CGI animals could appear on the big screen. The film used a mix of CGI and live-action techniques, and Lion King looks to follow this path.

The cast of the film is impressive, including Donald Glover as Simba, Beyonce Knowles-Carter as Nala, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, James Earl Jones as Mufasa, Billy Eichner as Timon and Seth Rogen as Pumbaa.
