With Avenger: Infinity War recently wrapping up production, shooting on Avengers 4 has begun. Although Marvel chief Kevin Feige won’t give us the name of Avengers 4 yet, there is still hope for Vision fans out there. Many people thought that because Vision has the mind stone embedded in his head that Thanos will kill him for it by the end of Infinity War. This may not be the case, because actor Paul Bettany just confirmed Vision is coming back for Avengers 4.

In an interview with Collider, Bettany says:

“It felt like the biggest movie that I’ve ever made and will ever make, and we’ve still got to make the [next] one. It’s f—ing crazy! I would come in, often at dawn because of the length of my make-up, and there would just be all of these twinkling lights. It looked like a town, but it wasn’t. It was where all of the trailers were. It’s massive!

The call sheets are bananas. When you see the list of cast members, you’re like, ‘How is anybody else making a film in Hollywood, this year? How are they getting films financed? Everybody is in this!’”

This statement doesn’t necessarily mean that Vision won’t meet his doom in Infinity War, because flashbacks in Avengers 4 are always a possibility. You also have to take into account the reality gem and the time gem. Both are infinity stone with the power to bring people back to life, or erase big events in the film. Marvel has stated that Thanos will use all of the Infinity Stones in some capacity, so anything is really possible.

“As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.”
