Relationships on ‘The Flash’ Elongate as Sue Dearbon Is Cast

At the end of The Flash season 5, Ralph Dibny (Hartley Sawyer) received a missing person case. The name is one that excited fans who know the source material well. Sue Dearbon is the maiden name of Ralph’s wife in the DC Comics.

Ralph’s story begins in Season 6 with him tracking Sue down but he’s still to find her. Since her mention, fans have wondered who will take up the role and now we have our answer.

The CW’s The Originals star Natalie Dreyfuss is coming to The Flash as Sue. The official release from tvline says Sue has a firey intelligence and a spitfire personality. She’s the daughter of one of Central City’s most wealthy families but there’s more about her Ralph will discover in the second half of the season.

The future Sue Dibny is a controversial character in the source material due to her storyline in Identity Crisis. It’s a storyline that put a black mark on DC and it’s hoped by many fans they won’t touch on it during her run on The Flash.

Natalie’s other credits include Still the King, Aim High and The Secret Life Of The American Teenager.

The Flash season 6 returns Tuesday, November 19, 2019, with episode 6 Licence to Elongate.
