Hell House LLC is the first in a found-footage trilogy focusing on an abandoned hotel. The first movie follows a group who are turning the hotel into a Halloween attraction. However, disaster strikes and lives are lost.
Five years later a documentary crew uncovers footage. They try to figure out what went wrong on that fateful day. Unfortunately, the truth isn’t something the public is ready for yet.
The Abaddon Hotel has a mysterious history after its owner commits suicide. According to this movie, he kills himself after guests of the hotel go missing.
That is why Hell House LLC decide to bring their attraction to Abaddon. They want to use the story behind the hotel as a means to publicise their haunted house.
Hell House LLC scares come from the build-up, culminating in a third act that answers some of the questions asked at the beginning. However, if you want to know the whole story you’ll need to watch its sequels.
While the first movie is available on various platforms, its sequels are exclusive to Shudder.
