Child’s Play
Everyone has that one toy as a child they loved. The one they never wanted to leave and think about as they grow. But, what if I was to tell you for one child that toy was possessed by a serial killer? That is Child’s Play in a nutshell.
Just as the police kill him, Charles Lee Ray performs a ritual that places his spirit in a doll. The Good Guy doll is the latest craze. It’s the Turbo Man of Chucky. The one doll everybody wants. Unfortunately for Andy Barclay, his doll is the one Chucky possesses.

While Child’s Play isn’t successful with mainstream audiences, it has a cult following. It’s that following that’s allowed it to continue longer than most horror franchises.
Due to its longevity, a second killer doll joins Chucky. His ex-girlfriend, Tiffany, performs the same soul transference and they become an unstoppable duo.
Because of Chucky’s popularity, there’s even a television series on the way. This is going to take place in the current Child’s Play universe. The showrunner is Don Mancini, one of the co-creators.
