Six Interactive Messenger Games to Play On Your Phone

The Sign: Ghost Dimension

Have you ever watched a horror movie and wished to be in one? Well, now is your chance! The Sign: Ghost Dimension has a familiar story. Your friend has watched a video and received a call telling her she’s going to die in seven days. When she does, your life is turned upside down. With the help of your classmates, a friendly hacker, and more, you’re in a race against time.

Why? Because you watched the same video that killed your friend. Does this sound familiar? If you’ve seen The Ring (or even Scary Movie 3) you’ll know the story well. However, don’t think this is a cheap copy of a well-known horror movie. The Sign: Ghost Dimension is so much more.

While the base story is familiar, there’s more to it than what meets the eye. You’ll go on a journey of discovery, leading to a revelation that shocks the core of what you thought the game represents. Meanwhile, you have other side stories to tussle with. Your parents are all loved up but your mother seems to be ill. Your sister’s roommate is best friends with her one minute and then the next she’s trying to kill her.

Lastly, there’s also the ex-partner who refuses to move. This complicates things further when you have an exchange student coming to stay with you.

The genders of your ex and exchange student differ depending on which gender you choose for your character. In my playthrough, the exchange student was Nora – a Norweigan woman who liked to flirt. Meanwhile, my ex was Lea. In any playthrough, you do there is one constant. Your ex is annoying and won’t stop messaging at the wrong time.

They also can’t live with the fact you’re broken up and keep trying to force you to get back with them.

Prepare yourself to get annoyed at a game. Now, this isn’t a complaint. It only makes it more immersive by giving your character these side stories. Furthermore, it develops your character by showing they have people like their ex in their life. It’s up to you to decide if you want to get back with the ex, date the exchange student or stay single. There may even be another character or two in the mix but that’s for you to find out. The game comes from the same studio as Seven. Who knows, you might even see a familiar face.

If you’re up for a scare, The Sign: Ghost Dimension is for you.
