Warner Brothers Release New DC Movies Slate
The Joker
When Todd Phillips (The Hangover) was announced to be directing an origin Elseworlds movie based on the Joker fans were skeptical.
However, since set pictures leaked there has been a positive buzz around the movie.
It sees Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck, a failed comedian, who descends into madness. Set photos suggest there’s a Political element to the movie but without a trailer the story is still vague.
There is a teaser for the Joker movie showcasing the two looks of the character. While he looks nothing like the comic version, The Joker looks to be groundbreaking.
The Joker releases 4th October 2019 in theatres across America and around the world.
