THE GIFT (2000)

The Gift stars Cate Blanchett as a small-town psychic who uses her abilities to help solve the murder of a local woman. Cate Blanchett comes fresh from her star-making, Academy Award-nomination in 1998’s Elizabeth.
The GIft features an all-star ensemble of supporting players including Greg Kinnear, Giovanni Ribisi, Katie Holmes, and Gary Cole. Keanu Reeves is the vilest and most-unlikable character he has ever played on the big screen.
The film also sees Sam Raimi apply his horror-driven niche to the narrative. This movie’s filled with a multitude of frightening and eerie moments.
