Boba Fett Will Return In ‘The Book of Boba Fett’

There will be spoilers for The Mandalorian season 2 within so if you haven’t seen it yet and don’t want to be spoiled, don’t read on. In Return of the Jedi Boba Fett apparently meets his end at the jaws of a Sarlacc. However, fast-forward 27 years and the bounty hunter returns.

At the end of The Mandalorian season 2’s premiere episode fans were surprised by the reappearance of Temuera Morrison. Temuera is the actor behind Jango Fett and the clones in the prequel trilogy.

Considering we saw Boba’s armor in the same episode the prevalent theory was that Temuera was back as Boba rather than a clone.

In season 2 episode 6 the title Mandalorian and Grogu are at an ancient Jedi site when the infamous Slave-1 flies into view. Coming from it is Boba Fett looking for his armor but he doesn’t come alone.

Resurrecting Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen), the two become fast allies with Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal).

In a post-credit scene during The Mandalorian’s season finale, Boba and Fennec return to Jabba the Hutt’s temple and take control. It confirms a new spin-off titled The Book of Boba Fett.
