It would be a huge get for Warner Brothers if she played Zatanna in their streaming service show.
Her name is also rising with being part of the cast of No Time to Die, the next James Bond movie. Ana is more known for her dramatic work but she’s shown a more fun side to herself in Knock Knock. It’s no leap to think Ana De Armas would be a great choice for Zatanna.
My final choice is skewing younger than the previous suggestions. Of course, it’s only ten years younger but that changes the character easily. Hailee Stenfield is another fan-favorite.
Audiences love her voice work as Spider-Gwen in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. She’s also won hearts with her portrayal of Emily Dickinson in Apple’s Dickinson.
Sadly, it’s also her work in that show that may prevent her from coming to DC. When the Hawkeye show was announced at Marvel, rumors said Hailee would play Kate Bishop.
However, information leaks say she can only do work if Apple gives her permission. Her contract also involves a non-competing clause with other streaming services.
If this doesn’t get in the way, then a younger Zatanna provides a perfect opportunity to show her grow into her powers. It also means getting to see her decide to moonlight as a magician and provides a character arc for her to explore.
