Halloween is fast approaching and no I don’t mean the movie (although Halloween Ends is also close). The season of scaring, dressing up, watching scary movies and getting free sweets is upon us. When watching a horror, most people turn to a film. However, there is also an abundance of horror TV series. Over the years this has only increased with more creatives taking their stories to the long-form medium.
Even some big franchises have jumped to the small screen. Outside of the horror world, Marvel has gone from a universe of movies to streaming shows on Disney+. As for the horror genre, several well-known horror stories have moved from the big screen to the small. Some examples of these are The Exorcist, Chucky and Scream.
