Ninja Turtles Trailer #2 Reveals the Big Threat

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, Nickelodeon Movies

The second trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows is here, and it reveals that the big threat to the turtles this time is not a villain. This movie looks a lot better than its predecessor.

Don’t get shell-shocked, check out the trailer below:

When the first film came out, I was really skeptical. I had the same issues as everyone else: the turtles looked weird, and Michael Bay was hinting at the possibility of changing the origin story. This could not fly. Thankfully, those plans were deviated from, and the finished product was a decent film. Notice how I never said it was good. It was slightly entertaining.

With Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows it looks as if Bay and Co. took the feedback from fans, and are giving us the movie that we want. For the first time on the big screen, fans are being treated to live-action versions of Shredder’s famous henchmen, Rocksteady and Bebop. Not to be out done, we are also getting our first live-action version of Krang, the evil brain alien from Dimension X.

The Turtles will have their hands full in this movie. As if that wasn’t enough of a challenge, our Heroes in the Half Shell are faced with a threat that could change them forever. The Shredder has figured out how to make a new weapon (mutagen) with the help of Baxter Stockman, and looks to destroy the Turtles forever. Will the Turtles have to expose themselves to the citizens of New York just to combat their foes?

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows stars Megan Fox, Will Arnett, and William Fichtner return to reprise their roles from the first film. They will be joined by Arrow star Stephen Amell, Laura Linney, and Tyler Perry.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows hits theaters on June 3, 2016.
