Ranking ‘The Conjuring’ Universe Movies
Since its release, The Conjuring has spawned a sequel and several spin-offs. These spin-offs are a mix of good and bad.
The series focuses on the exploits of Ed and Lorraine Warren, a real-life couple who investigate the paranormal. There is much debate over the accuracy of their stories but that hasn’t stopped the success of the series with critics and audiences.
The Conjuring is a rare gem in the Horror world where most of the spin-offs and sequels improve on the previous. In a time where most Horrors favor too many jump scares over the story, The Conjuring is a much-needed palate cleanser.
In only a short time The Conjuring has had two main movies and four spin-offs. The recently released The Curse of La Llorona is said to be in The Conjuring series but its only connection is one minor character. The news on its connection came only once the movie was out.
I will be focusing on the main timeline movies that are announced as Conjuring movies when they are greenlit.
