One of the best things about Marvel movies are the crazy Stan Lee cameos. Some are funny, some are creative, and some are just bizarre. According to a new report, Lee has already filmed his next four cameo scenes. One of my favorite Stan Lee cameos is the most recent one from Captain America: Civil War. In the scene, he is a delivery man leaving a package at the new Avengers headquarters. He asks for Tony Stank, to which Rhodes feeds saying that Tony Stark is most definitely Tony Stank. It is a brilliant scene, that capitalizes on the more humorous side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. You can check out the scene below:
According to a recent interview with Cinema Blend, Kevin Feige revealed that Stan Lee has already filmed his next four cameo scenes for upcoming Marvel films:
We do not shoot random ones. They’re always very specific. A couple of months ago in Atlanta, he flew down and we shot four in one day — for four various projects. They’re all awesome! They’re all totally different. And he was unbelievable. He was on fire. He came in, he sat here, he stood there, he stood in this window, and then he went home.
There is a little rumor swirling around that Stan Lee might actually be a character adapted from the Marvel comic universe called Uatu The Watcher. Uatu The Watcher is an alien entity, who is always at the scene of pivotal Marvel comic events watching in the background. He never leaves his post on the Moon, unless he is intervening in huge Marvel happenings. The Watcher is charged with the task of watching everything that happens on Earth, without intervention. He doesn’t always do that, but it would be a funny twist, allowing the creator to become the created.
Are you a fan of Stan Lee being Uatu the Watcher?
What do you think he will be spotted doing in Marvel’s next film, Doctor Strange?
