17 Amazing Cameos You Didn’t See Coming in ‘Deadpool 2’

13. ZEITGEIST

Zeitgeist Bill Skarsgard Deadpool 2
Bill Skarsgârd portrayed Zeitgeist in Deadpool 2 and although you think that having acid spit is a great power, it sucks when you throw up on someone. Zeitgeist is not a character that has ever had a long lifespan. Zeitgeist was created by Peter Milligan and Mike Allred for 2001’s X-Force #116.
When the X-Force was revamped, Axel Cluney became the leader and the X-Force went from a bunch of militarily styled outlaws to a group of celebrity heroes with their own reality show. Zeitgeist never really appreciated the spotlight or his fans. While trying to rescue a boy band, Zeitgeist and his team were ambushed by an attack helicopter, spelling the end of he and his team. Much like the live-action version of X-Force was ambushed by high winds in Deadpool 2.
Zeitgeist on the big screen seemed just as focused as he was in the comics. He never seemed to be phased by Deadpool’s antics, and rather seemed focused on the mission.

12. BLACK TOM CASSIDY

Holy Hell! Can you believe that Deadpool 2 snuck in Black Tom Cassidy into the film? He is a regular villain in the Deadpool and X-Men comics. Black Tom Cassidy was created by Dave Cockrum and Chris Claremont, first appearing in X-Men #99. In the comics, Cassidy energizes wood, weaponizing it. He also can control plants to an extent. Cassidy is the X-Men member Banshee’s cousin and usually partners up with Juggernaut.
In Deadpool 2, Cassidy is one of the inmates in the prison, and although Juggernaut is locked up there too, the two never cross paths. His appearance in the film is brief, but Wade Wilson makes sure that you don’t miss the character. His racially charged inside joke about Cassidy’s name with Cable is one of the best jokes in the film.
