17 Amazing Cameos You Didn’t See Coming in ‘Deadpool 2’

You get two geek-friendly cameo’s in the sequence where Cable first travels tot he present time from the future. The two guys sitting in the back of the pickup truck that Cable steals, referencing the original Terminator movies. The two characters were having a detailed debate about toilet paper, as rednecks do when Cable knocks both Rednecks out.

One of the characters was Alan Tudyk, who looked close to the way he did in Tucker & Dale Vs. Evil. Tudyk is a staple in the science fiction community where he voices K-2SO in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Wash in Joss Whedon’s Firefly with Morena Baccarin who plays Deadpool’s girlfriend.

The other person is Matt Damon (Downsizing, The Martian). Yes, that is Matt Damon under all of those prosthetics. He was almost unrecognizable with the big gut and a large beard. Damon’s role was also credited as Dickie Greenleaf in the final credits, a character he was in 1999s The Talented Mr. Ripley.

The isn’t the only cameo Matt Damon has recently done. He also showed up as an Asgardian portraying Loki in Thor: Ragnarok.
