Who Should Warner Brothers Cast as the new ‘Supergirl’?

Coming from the world of Archie Comics again, Lili Reinhart is a guilty pleasure casting, and yes she is very reminiscent of Melissa Benoist in acting style and looks.

Lili portrays Betty Cooper, the suburban girl next door who is a keen reporter and detective. Her version of Betty is close to how Kara Danvers is, so it isn’t a big leap for her to play the human identity.

As for how she would be as Supergirl, Lili has shown on Riverdale she can be headstrong and in charge when the script calls for it. It is most evident in Season 2 when Betty goes up against the Black Hood. If there’s an actress on this list who already plays a character similar to Kara/Supergirl, it’s Lili.

Of course, the downside is the fear of comparison to current television Supergirl Melissa Benoist. As I’ve said above she is reminiscent to Melissa so fans may think they’re trying to emulate what’s already there.

Lili Reinhart can emulate the version fans know and love while making the character her own.
