Bourne continued beyond Ultimatum and hasn’t had quite the same success. However, the first three films are still firmly lodged in the trilogy hall of fame.
Bourne is another trilogy to have the weakest film be the middle entry, although, Identity only edges Supremacy by a singular point. It also features the rarest of situations where the third film is the best of the bunch. Between Bourne and Ocean’s Eleven, Matt Damon was propelled into the Hollywood elite.
