Captain America: The First Avenger is a solid film, likeable but not spectacular. The Winter Soldier arrived a few years later and is widely regarded as the best of all Marvel’s films. Rounding out the Trilogy is Civil War. Is Civil War is more of an Avengers film than a Captain America film?
It is still officially subtitled under the Captain America heading and thus counts. The Captain America trilogy stands out amongst all the trilogies as the only one where the first film is the weakest, including those that missed the Top 10.
