Toy Story 1, 2 and 3 scored 100, 100 and 99 respectively on Rotten Tomatoes. These excellent positive review scores are backed up by the ratings too. The Toy Story trilogy also came out on top for the Metacritic average, as well, at 91.7.
Perhaps a little surprisingly, it is the audience score that is the weakest. Toy Story is ranked 7th by audience score alone. This ultimately causes the trilogy to have to settle for second place despite leading in half the categories. There’s a lot of pressure on the upcoming Toy Story 4, that’s for sure.
