7. THE X-MEN
In a hilarious twist, while Deadpool was complaining about how there are never any other X-Men around the mansion, the full team was shutting a door behind him, almost trying to hide from the Merc with a Mouth. In the brief cameo appearance was Alexandra Shipp’s Storm, Kodi Smit-McPhee’s Nightcrawler, Sophie Turner’s Jean Grey, James McAvoy’s Professor X, Nicholas Hoult’s Beast, Evan Peters’ Quicksilver, and Jennifer Lawrence’s Mystique.
Basically every X-Men member from next year’s X-Men: Dark Phoenix.
The scene was shot by Dark Phoenix director Simon Kinberg and digitally added to the film. It does open up a timeline abnormality, seeing as how X-Men: Dark Phoenix takes place in the 1990s and Deadpool 2 is set in the present. All of this can be written off by Deadpool messing with the timelines at the end of the film. It really isn’t a moment that bothers me at all.
