14. VANISHER
Although he was initially used as a joke in the X-Force recruitment scene, The Vanisher really was in the film. Deadpool 2. This was a huge surprise to fans, especially when the character met his untimely demise at the hands of power lines, and fans saw that he was actually Brad Pitt. The reveal only amped up the hilarity of the scene, and to the abundance of secret cameos in the film.
The Vanisher was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, debuting in X-Men #2. He was actually a teleporter, not invisible in the beginning. He was the second villain the X-Men faced in the comics. He isn’t a common character but has returned a few times to give the X-Men trouble. The Vanisher showed up in the X-Force comics briefly and became a member of the team. His run on the team ended when it was believed that he died, and The Vanisher retreated back into a life of crime.
Deadpool also made a few jokes at the expense of the 1994 film Interview with a Vampire. Brad Pitt portrayed the vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac in the film.
