There is no denying that Deadpool 2 is a huge hit. The film was funny, epic, and managed to be better than the first film in the franchise. Not only was this movie not a rehash of the first film, but it relied little on the successes of the first. There is one bright surprise that came from Deadpool 2, and that was all of the surprise cameos laced throughout the movie.
The trailers showed us plenty of new additions to the franchise, but the movie took that to an entirely new high. The movie was full of new characters, and blink-and-you-might-miss-them moments.
Deadpool 2 proves that Marvel isn’t the only cinematic universe that can juggle a large cast. Not only did Deadpool 2 includes fantastic performances by Zazie Beetz and Josh Brolin as Domino and Cable, the two biggest additions to the franchise.
The real beauty of Deadpool 2 is its ability to overload audiences with easter eggs. It featured little-known characters from the X-Men comic universe, along with a few surprise bombshell cameos. Some of these cameos were really obscure, and only a few eagle-eyed fans picked them up during initial viewings.
